Product documentation

In the Life Science and other high-demand industries, product documentation is not just a requirement – it’s a critical part of ensuring quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance. At Texor, we understand the importance of providing clear, complete, and well-organized documentation for every part and system we deliver.

Our documentation supports the full lifecycle of the product, from material certificates and welding records to cleaning protocols, inspection reports, and final acceptance tests (FAT). This level of detail gives our customers confidence in the integrity and performance of the components, and provides the traceability needed to meet strict industry standards and regulatory audits.

By maintaining high standards for documentation, Texor takes full responsibility for the quality of its work – ensuring that every delivery is ready for direct integration into validated environments.

Measurement

Precision and compliance are at the core of our production process. We have a dedicated team of trained quality personnel responsible for inspection, measurement, and documentation of every part before delivery – ensuring each part meets the highest industry standards.

Our measurement capabilities include:

  • Surface Measurement
We perform surface roughness testing to verify finishes ensuring compliance with customer and industry requirements

  • Portable Measurement Arm
For larger components and complex geometries, we use a portable coordinate measuring arm capable of measuring longer distances and verifying tight tolerances with high accuracy.

  • Visual & Dimensional Inspection
All parts are subject to visual quality checks and dimensional control, carried out by trained inspectors as part of our standard quality assurance workflow.

  • PMI Testing (Positive Material Identification)
When required, we perform PMI testing to verify that materials meet specified grade and alloy composition—an essential step in ensuring full traceability and material compliance.

When traceability is a requirement, each inspection is documented and traceable, forming part of the complete product documentation package delivered with your order.

Welding documentation

All welding activities are supported by comprehensive documentation, prepared and verified by our experienced inspection engineers. This ensures full traceability, compliance, and quality assurance.

Our welding documentation include:

  • Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)

  • Welder Qualification Records (WPQR)

  • Weld maps and traceability reports

  • Inspection records and visual test protocols

Each weld is controlled and documented in accordance with applicable standards. We are experienced working according to ASME BPE, ISO 3834-2 and ISO5817, depending on the customer requirement. Our inspection engineers oversee the process from qualification through execution and final review, ensuring that every weld meets the strictest regulatory and quality standards.

This documentation is delivered as part of your complete product documentation package, giving you full confidence in the integrity of every weld.

Inspection

Every product undergoes a thorough final inspection before it is approved for delivery. This process, known as product release, is managed by our qualified inspection engineers, who verify that all technical, visual, dimensional, and documentation requirements have been met.

The inspection include:

  • Visual and dimensional control

  • Surface finish verification

  • Review of welding and material documentation

  • Confirmation of cleaning, marking, and packing standards

  • Verification against customer specifications and project requirements

Only once all applicable criteria are fulfilled is the product officially released for the next phase.

Test documentation

All testing is thoroughly documented to ensure traceability, transparency, and compliance with customer and industry requirements. Our test documentation is prepared and reviewed by qualified personnel and delivered as part of the final product documentation package.

Depending on project scope and specifications, test documentation may include:

  • Test protocols and procedures

  • Pressure and leak test reports

  • Visual and dimensional inspection records

  • Borescope and dye penetrant test results

  • FAT protocols and customer sign-off forms

Every test is recorded with relevant data such as test parameters, equipment used, operator details, and results, ensuring full accountability and quality assurance. This allows our customers to receive products that are not only tested – but also fully verified and documented for use in regulated and high-purity environments.

Traceability

When required, we ensure full traceability on every detail we produce – from raw material to finished product. Each part is tracked through every step of the manufacturing process, including material sourcing, machining, welding, surface treatment, cleaning, assembly, and final inspection.

This traceability includes:

  • Material certificates and heat numbers

  • Weld maps and welder IDs

  • Inspection and test records

  • Batch numbers, serial numbers, and project references

Our traceability system allows us to provide customers with complete and verifiable product history, supporting quality assurance, regulatory compliance.
