History
The evolution from road signs to Life Science
The factory was founded in 1967 by Alfa Laval. During the first years the factory mainly produced road signs, as Sweden then changed from left-hand traffic to right-hand traffic.
At the beginning of the 1970s the focus of the production changed to manufacturing stainless steel components, mainly to supply other sections of Alfa Laval.
Texor was later sold by Alfa Laval and is today part of the LIFCO Group.
LIFCO AB is an industrial and trade conglomerate consisting of +260 companies in over 30 different countries with a total of over 7,500 employees and an annual turnover of 26 BSEK (2024).
At the beginning of 2007, Texor acquired Zetterströms Rostfria AB in Molkom – a strategic step in strengthening our focus on delivering complete systems to the global Life Science industry.
